90 year old lady had just had her birthday and was able to go out to the view. She was tired but was enjoying great grand children looking.
Maybe it was just the weather, but the view was unbelievable. And this is coming from a guy that spent 12 years in Colorado. The fog was lifting and there was no one around but us two. West Virginia blew us away. Best foliage in the mid Atlantic.

So beautiful! Stopped in on a trip from Virginia to Indiana. Pulled up to 4 beautiful doe grazing right next to the parking lot. The bathrooms were clean, the playground was nice, clean and exactly what my 5 year old needed and the view is what all of us needed.
Picnic tables, rest rooms, and a small interpretive center are centrally located.
This is gorgeous, and completely free to park and walk around the land. The view is spectacular!
Was not the summer late fall. Very nice and well kept.
An amazing view lies just a few yards from the parking lot. The canyon formed by the New River forms a horseshoe curve which you view from the top of the cliff without having to climb.
