Room was comfortable and staff was friendly. We were on the second floor but there was no elevator so dreading our bags up and down the stairs was slightly awkward. The walls seemed a little thin, we could hear the people in the breakfast room below us and the people in the room next door.
Accommodations were fine for a place to just lay your head for the night. No frills, just small rooms, nicely decorated but in an obviously older building. Decent breakfast, limited other amenities. Didn't use the fitness room. Hotel staff was outstanding! Friendly and welcoming in our limited interactions. We always stay here on a long trip to Virginia as just a place to break up the journey. Nothing nearby to do or places to go, everything is 15 minutes or more away but for half of what it costs to stay near those places we'll deal with it.
The staff was very nice and respectful. The breakfast was delicious and hot. The rooms were quiet and cozy, they have amazing showers as well.
Me and my wife would to this hotel with no hope of it being nice but it turns out it's an amazing place to stay with just enough place nearby to eat and shop.
Clean, quiet place to stay. Used as a midpoint stopping place on our way to Kentucky. Friendly staff, clean rooms, nice hot breakfast.
